Deeprock galactic gunner perk build4/12/2023 A big powerattack into a grunt swarm on haz 5 will give you 20-30 HP back. Once you learn to use your pickaxe to finish if given the chance (Play it like you would do in overwatch, where you finish a close by low hp enemy with a quick melee), you will never need Resupplier or Sweet Tooth anymore. Vampire: Everyone can use that, and should imho. A lot bigger than +5hp on a melee kill on a medium sized bug. When the difference is between taking 100 damage and surviving or taking 200 damage and dying, there is a lot of impact for the Friendly perk. It is about preventing accidental team damage due to wonky hitboxes, random weapon spread and other player random movement. Friendly is not about throwing grenades and C4's on teammates that are surrounded. Id go as far as to say that players who dont use it in Haz5 are the ones making a mistake. ![]() One slasher hit is equal to 5!!! vampire kills in Haz5.įriendly has a really bad reputation, but it is not a noob perk at all. Vampire seems like a waste of perk slot in most scenarios, because you regain only 5hp but the risk of taking more damage while being near to enemies is a lot greater. You can even call one just before dying, wait until it arrives, then IW. Just have to make sure you have one available when a big fight is about to happen. I dont need Vampire with Iron Will, because I can just use resupply to get back 75% max hp instantly. I have tried it in combination with Berserker, but it is generally not worth it, because in Haz5 one grunt attack deals 12 damage and you get only 5 hp for a kill, so you cannot risk being hit at all for it to be worth it. ![]() I try to avoid damage either way, but when swarms come, passive damage reduction is nice to have and better than Elemental Insulstion, which does not affect bug bites/stings.Ĭryo Driller can make use of the Vampire perk, but I avoid it in other setups, because it brings little value. It is very useful in Haz5.īorn Ready is a great perk for any class except Minigun Gunner or Cryo/EPC Driller.įor Gunner I stay near Molly for 30% damage reduction with Veteran Depositor. 0.7 team damage in Haz5 is no joke, so dont be fooled with the 2pp cost of the perk as a noob perk. Other classes deal with Swarmers easily and it is more important to reduce the team damage with their strong weapons by using Friendly. Thorns is more a must pick for Scout since he sucks versus small enemies and I am usually more concerned about clearing priority targets and Thorns lets me ignore some lone Swarmers nibbling at me. I rather get consistent 75% health back every resupply and it also lets you get clutch resupplies faster and also instatly reloads every weapon. On Haz5 red sugar is so rare that the Sweet Tooth perk just seems pointless. You get a much safer feeling that you can get a clutch jail freecard for a wipe which can happen at any unfortunate moment in Haz5.ĭash also seems like a must pick beacuse it lets you create space when swarmed (especially by Slashers) and also gives some mobility on low cooldown to run faster or jump a large gap when not playing scout.įrom passive perks I am now so used to Resupplier that I cant play without it. ![]() I feel like Iron Will is a must when you want to be sure you complete the mission. Why? Because it removes deep snow movement speed penalty entirely and lets you sprint over it and mobility is super important at Haz5. Special - in Glacial Strata one of the passive perks gets replaced with Unstoppable. For me there are 2 setups: (active perks in italic)īorn ready (Veteran Depositor for gunner)
